[3] In 1861, she officially began her career as Alice in Giacomo Meyerbeer's Robert le diable at the Wrocław Opera.

[2] In July 1862, she portrayed Agathe and Anna in François-Adrien Boieldieu's La dame blanche.

For the next two years, Blume performed as a guest in Naples at the Teatro di San Carlo.

The year after, Blume undertook a tour of South America with the tenor Enrico Tamberlik.

[2] On 25 May 1866, she married singing teacher Alfred Blume and began performing under the name Bianka Blume-Sauter.
