The Diocese of Mantua (Latin: Dioecesis Mantuana) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in Italy.
The diocese existed at the beginning of the 8th century,[1] though the earliest attested bishop is Laiulfus (827).
[3] The cathedra of its bishop is in the Cathedral of S. Pietro Apostolo.
The current Bishop of Mantua is Gianmarco Busca, appointed by Pope Francis on June 3, 2016.
The bishop emeritus is Roberto Busti.
