Blake Brockermeyer

Blake Weeks Brockermeyer (born April 11, 1973) is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for the Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, and Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL).

He was a two-time All-SWC offensive tackle in 1993 and 1994,[3][4] as well as an All-American in 1994 and a semifinalist for the Outland Trophy that same year.

He was released by the Bears after the 2002 season for salary cap reasons, and after undergoing shoulder and knee surgery and then signed by the Broncos the following June.

[2] He served various roles at All Saints Episcopal School in Fort Worth, Texas, for 12 seasons, where he was part of five State Championship teams.

[9] In 2018 he joined the SMU Mustangs football staff as Defensive Quality Control Analyst, where he worked for two seasons.

James's twin brother Tommy originally also played offensive line for the University of Alabama but transferred in 2023 to TCU.
