Robert Collins Gallagher (born July 7, 1948) is a former outfielder in Major League Baseball who played from 1972 through 1975 for the Boston Red Sox (1972), Houston Astros (1973–74) and New York Mets (1975).
His grandfather, Shano Collins, was a Major League outfielder/manager and a player in the 1917 and 1919 World Series.
Gallagher attended Bellarmine College Preparatory before attending Stanford University and being selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 17th round of the 1968 June Amateur Baseball draft.
In 2010, he retired from teaching and currently works as a substitute teacher for Santa Cruz High School.
