Robert James Gregory (26 August 1902 – 6 October 1973) was an English first-class cricketer.
[1] He was an attractive right-handed batsman, a leg-break bowler and a fine fielder in the deep.
Despite losing six seasons to World War II, he made 19,495 runs in first-class cricket, at an average of 34.32.
He once took ten wickets in a match: five in each innings against Middlesex at Lord's in 1930.
Gregory died at Wandsworth in London in 1973 aged 71.
