It is the first professional club from Bodoland to participate in the Durand Cup.

Represented the BTR in the 1st Inter Sixth Schedule Council Premier Football League tournament (ISPL) in 2022, the team won the championship by defeating Lai Autonomous District Council of Mizoram.

On 5 August 2023, the club has entered into national football map of the country through its participation in the 2023 Durand Cup.
