Bowersville is a town in Hart County, Georgia, United States.

The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Bowersville as a town in 1883.

[4] The community was named after Job Bowers, a local postal official.

[6] The town is concentrated around the intersection of Georgia State Route 17 and Georgia State Route 51, a few miles west of the Georgia-South Carolina border at Lake Hartwell.
