Braxton is a village in Simpson County, Mississippi, United States.

35.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 11.6% of families and 17.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.5% of those under the age of eighteen and 29.3% of those 65 or over.

The Village of Braxton is served by the Simpson County School District.
