Brendan DuBois (born 19 September 1959)[1] is an American mystery fiction and suspense writer.
[5] DuBois has twice won a Shamus Award for Best Short Story, in 1995 and 2001.
[3] His short story "The Dark Snow" was published in Best American Mystery Stories of the Century (edited by Otto Penzler and Tony Hillerman).
[5] On July 10, 2024, DuBois was arrested in Exeter, New Hampshire and charged with six felony counts of possession of child pornography.
[9] He was arraigned the next day and held at the Rockingham County Jail.
