Breznička (Hungarian: Ipolyberzence, German: Bersentz) is a village and municipality in the Poltár District in the Banská Bystrica Region of Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1279 (Berzenche) as a Slavic settlement.

Before the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia in 1918, it was part of Nógrád County within the Kingdom of Hungary.
