Brian Satterwhite (born July 30, 1974) is an American composer and conductor renowned for his contributions to film music.
Based in Austin, Texas, he has composed scores for over 160 short and feature films, including The Next Kill (2018), Disney's The Lone Ranger (2013), and Sushi: The Global Catch (2012).
[3] In 2012, Satterwhite joined the faculty of the University of Texas at Austin's Radio-Television-Film Department, teaching film music composition to aspiring filmmakers.
[2] Since 2012, he has been a regular collaborator with the Dallas Chamber Symphony, who commissioned him to write original scores for A Sailor-Made Man starring Harold Lloyd, The Scarecrow starring Buster Keaton, Fritz Lang's Metropolis, and Robert Wiene's The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.
