Bridgewater Township, Michigan

The current township hall was rebuilt on the same site and it now a designated.

It had a few mills, a train station, a post office, a store, and a few other businesses.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 1,646 people, 598 households, and 477 families residing in the township.

There were 615 housing units at an average density of 16.8 per square mile (6.5/km2).

14.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

Bridgewater Township is served by three public school districts.

The majority of the township is served by Clinton Community Schools to the south in Lenawee County.
