Bristol is a town in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States, located just north of the city of Sun Prairie and 15 miles northeast of Madison.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 34.4 square miles (89.1 km2), all of it land.

There were 956 housing units at an average density of 27.8 per square mile (10.7/km2).

10.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

In addition to agricultural land, there is an area of rural residential subdivisions located in the southwest corner of the town.
