Deerfield is a town in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States.
The unincorporated communities of London and Old Deerfield are located in the town.
The town was named for the great number of deer in the surrounding fields.
As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 1,470 people, 486 households, and 404 families residing in the town.
12.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
