Brownsville-Bawcomville is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, United States.

[1] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.7 square miles (17 km2), all of it land.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 7,616 people, 2,936 households, and 2,081 families residing in the CDP.

There were 3,373 housing units at an average density of 507.3 per square mile (195.9/km2).

23.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
