Buckner, Missouri

Buckner is a city in Jackson County, Missouri, United States.

For decades it was best known for TV and radio commercials promoting local automobile dealership Lasater Ford, run by the Lasater brothers, Wilson and Milton and later Halverson Ford.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.79 square miles (4.64 km2), all land.

There were 1,243 housing units at an average density of 694.4 per square mile (268.1/km2).

24.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
