[3] In the 2020 Senate election the movement formed a coalition with ČSSD and the Greens, supporting the candidacies of Jiří Dienstbier and Michal Šmarda.
[4][5] In the 2022 municipal elections Budoucnost ran for the Prague City Assembly as part of the Solidarity coalition with ČSSD, Greens and Idealists Movement, which did not gain any seats.
[13] The movement wants to abolish distraint by private entites and ease debt relief by increasing pensions and reducing labor taxation.
The movement wants to reduce oligarchy by taxing the rich as well as tightening media ownership and party financing laws.
Other priorities of the movement include ending privatisation, creating new state enterprises (particularly a public bank and phone operator) and transition to carbon-free economy financed by those who have profited from the climate crisis.
