Burlington Township, Calhoun County, Michigan

It is part of the Battle Creek, Michigan Metropolitan Statistical Area.

[4] The St. Joseph River flows through the southeastern portion of the township past the villages of Burlington and Union City.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 1,929 people, 734 households, and 565 families residing in the township.

There were 775 housing units at an average density of 21.6 per square mile (8.3/km2).

18.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
