Burtigny is a municipality in the district of Nyon in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

[5] The municipality is located at the foot of the Jura Mountains along the Col du Marchairuz road.
The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Vert, a wavy chevron inverted Argent, a shrike proper.
[9] Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks French (259 or 83.3%), with German being second most common (22 or 7.1%) and English being third (17 or 5.5%).
