Burundi National Radio and Television

Burundi National Radio and Television currently broadcasts in Kirundi, French, Swahili, and English.

[1] The television station broadcast using a 0.5 kW transmitter in Bujumbura on UHF channel 25.

[2] Among its founding staff was Rwandan-born Valence Rwamukwaya, who was working on Burundi's national radio since 1982.

[4] In June 2013, Burundi began operations for the migration of television from analogue to digital technology, which was completed by the end of 2014.
