Byron Keith Smith (born December 21, 1962) is an American former professional football defensive lineman who played two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL).

[1] After going undrafted in the 1984 NFL draft, Smith signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.
In June 1984, Smith was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round, with the 66th overall pick, of the 1984 NFL supplemental draft of USFL and CFL players.
[5] Smith signed with the Los Angeles Raiders on March 17, 1987, before being released later that year.
