CFWM-FM

O'Rourke and Gorrie got permission from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to move CKRC to the FM band in 1996.

CFWM had to be sold, as the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) would not let one company own more than two AM or FM stations in the same radio market.

[1] On January 4, 2011, Beau, Tom, and Frazier moved back to CHIQ after its flip to classic hits, being replaced by Jay Richardson and Andrea Collin (who had served as CHIQ's morning hosts under its previous Curve format)..[2] On May 18, 2021, the station rebranded under Bell's national adult hits brand Bounce Radio, with no change in format.

[3] Bob Washington, a personality on the station during the CKRC era, was well known outside of Winnipeg as the "voice" of K-tel, a Winnipeg-based direct response advertising company.

[5] Other notable personalities from the CKRC era include Doc Steen, Boyd Kozak, Jim Paulson, Scott Walker (Bill's son), Bernie Pascal, Billy Gorrie, Bryan Fustukian (as Vik Armen) and Buster Bodean.

Former "Bob FM" logo used from March 2002 to May 2021.
