[4] On 27 October 2024, Crisafulli announced that he and Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie would be sworn in as an interim two-person cabinet.
Crisafulli and Bleijie were formally sworn in by Governor Jeanette Young on 28 October.
[5] On 1 November 2024, the full ministry was formally sworn in, as follows:[6] Unlike the Executive Council, which is a mechanism for advising the Governor, the Cabinet meets without the Governor and is responsible for formulating and coordinating policy.
In effect, the Executive Council is a vehicle for implementing decisions made in Cabinet.
[7] Individual ministers are collectively responsible for the decisions made by Cabinet, so ministers are expected to resign if unwilling to publicly support a collective decision of Cabinet.
