Her career began at age 18 when Alice hired her to perform multiple roles in and provide choreography and design costumes for his Brutal Planet tour.

After taking the course, at Chubbuck's recommendation, she auditioned, successfully, for the improv comedy groups The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
