California's 28th State Assembly district is one of 80 California State Assembly districts.

It is currently represented by Democrat Gail Pellerin of Santa Cruz.

The district is located in the southwestern corner of Silicon Valley and consists mainly of middle-income and affluent residential communities and neighborhoods.

Due to redistricting, the 28th district has been moved around different parts of the state.
