[5] In May 2020 Beattie was interviewed by Robin Galloway on Pure Radio about his pride in the Scottish sound of the album, saying that his "heart will always lie back home".

[6] On 26 June 2020 Beattie released his first music video for the song "Salamander Street", about a former classmate who became a prostitute in Edinburgh.

The album reached number one on the national iTunes chart, beating Gorillaz, Pink and Adam Lambert.

On Sunday 26 March Beattie performed 2 songs, Heart Stops Beating and Salamander Street in the centre circle at Ibrox park for the Rangers Football Club Legends match.

In the second half, manager Alex McLeish selected Beattie to play on the field alongside Rangers and rest of the world legends.
