[1] The park features 35 waterslides, a wave pool (the largest in Canada) and two lazy rivers as well as a food outlets, shops, picnic areas, and a VIP area with private cabanas and suites.
In all cases, the park failed to shut down the ride and did not report the incidents until the end of the season in September.
[2] In August 2012, an excess amount of chlorine was discharge into Calypso Palace sickening 20 people, 13 of whom had to be taken to hospital.
Later that day, a power outage caused another discharge of chlorine into the pool, resulting in two more hospitalizations.
[3] On April 13, 2015, Calypso Park was found guilty of six of the eleven charges it faced under Ontario's Technical Standards and Safety Act.
