L. Candy Ruff (February 13, 1951 - June 16, 2016) was an American politician who was a Democratic member of the Kansas House of Representatives, who represented the 40th District from 1993 to 2009.
L. Candy Williamson was born on February 13, 1951, in Springfield, Missouri, to Lyndall C. and Eleanor Burtner Williamson.
[1] She was one of five children, graduating from Parkview High School in Springfield in 1969.
