Carl Augustus Heber (April 15, 1874 or 1875[1] –1956) was an American sculptor noted for his public monuments.
Heber was born in Stuttgart, Germany and at a young age moved to Dundee, Illinois.
[2] He moved to Chicago where he studied at the Art Institute of Chicago with Lorado Taft.
[3] He continued his studies in Paris at the Académie Julian and the École des Beaux-Arts before returning to the United States.
