Carl Vereen

Carl Harry Vereen (born January 27, 1936) is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL).

[2] In addition to football, Vereen was on the school's track-and-field team, where he competed in shot put and discus.

[2] During his time with the Yellow Jackets, he was named a second-team All-American by the Newspaper Enterprise Association.

[4] He was also selected to play in the 1957 Chicago College All-Star Game, losing to the NFL champion New York Giants 22–12.

[6] Vereen was selected in the fourth round of the 1957 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers.
