Carlo Albanesi

Carlo Albanesi (22 October 1858 – 26 September 1926) was an Italian-born composer, pianist, teacher and examiner who spent most of his working life in England.

In 1893 he was appointed professor of piano at the Royal Academy of Music, succeeding the deceased Thomas Wingham.

[6] Albanesi was appointed Chevalier of the Crown of Italy, and was a long-term member of the London Philharmonic Society.

They lived at 3 Gloucester Terrace in Hyde Park,[7] and had two daughters: Eva Olimpia Maria Albanesi (1897-????

[12] Carlo Albanesi died at home following a short illness and was buried at St Pancras Cemetery, Finchley.
