[125] Towards the end of the year, the two continued to cut promos and attack each other, which eventually led to a match for the SmackDown Women's Championship at the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs event.
[citation needed] Carmella was then scheduled to be Sasha Banks' replacement for SummerSlam against Bianca Belair, but was then attacked by a returning Becky Lynch.
