Caroline Astrid Bruzelius is an American art historian and expert in medieval architecture.
[citation needed] Bruzelius completed her undergraduate work at Wellesley College in 1971[4] and received an M.A.
[2] From 1977 to 1979, Bruzelius was an assistant professor at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and from 1979 to 1980 she was a researcher at the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The following year, in 1982, she became a Mellon Fellow and an assistant professor at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where she became an associate professor in 1986, and the Chairman of the Art Department from 1989-2003.
