Carter Bassett Harrison (c.1756 – April 18, 1808) was a politician from the U.S. state of Virginia.
1756 in Charles City County, Virginia, the son of Benjamin Harrison V[1] and Elizabeth Bassett (1730–1792), the daughter of Colonel William Bassett and Elizabeth Churchill, daughter of burgess William Churchill (1649—1710).
[4] His father was a member of the Continental Congress and signer of the American Declaration of Independence, and the Governor of Virginia.
In 1800, Harrison settled in Prince George County, Virginia at Maycox, along the James River.
[1] Carter's burial is unknown, however, it is likely he's buried at his old plantation, "Maycox," in Prince George County.
