Castricum railway station

The station opened on 1 May 1867 as part of the Den Helder–Amsterdam railway.

It was designed by Karel Hendrik van Brederode.

[2] In the 2021 renovation the design focused on the relation with nearby Huis van Hilde and the tourism to the dune area.

[3] As of 1 January 2024[update], the following services call at Castricum: These services stop outside the station.
