Catseye was created by Chris Claremont and Sal Buscema in The New Mutants #16-17 (June–July 1984).

[1] Catseye is a member of Emma Frost's Hellions who can partially or fully transform into a purple cat.

Having been abandoned by her parents and grown up in the wilderness, she came to believe that she was a cat who could assume human form rather than the other way around.

[2][3] Throughout her appearances, Catseye battles the New Mutants, but befriends Wolfsbane, whose powers are similar to her own.

[4][5][6][7] She is later killed by Trevor Fitzroy before being resurrected by Selene and Eli Bard.
