[2] Continuing her studies there, she earned a laurea in 1982 and a Ph.D. in 1988, with Giorgio Levi as her doctoral advisor.
From 1998 to 2002 she worked as a professor at Pennsylvania State University in the US,[1] and in 2002 she and her husband moved together to France as directors of research at Inria.
[2] At Inria, she is the leader of the Comète team, based at Paris-Saclay University, focused on formal methods in computer security and privacy.
