Cecilia Paredes Verduga (born October 27, 1971) is an Ecuadorian engineer and university professor.

She is the rector of Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) which is in the city of Guayaquil.

She joined ESPOL's faculty in 2001 doing both research and teaching[2] and in 2002 she became a full professor and in 2006 deputy dean.

[4] In 2022 she was re-elected for a second five year term as rector by the students, teaching staff and the employees of ESPOL.

During the meeting Verduga was honoured when she was given an award recognising her contribution to education by the President of the National Assembly.
