They won only one of their Ranji Trophy matches, against Mysore in 1947–48 under the captaincy of Wasuderao Sane,[1] lost nine and drew one.
They won one of their other matches, against Cricket Club of India in 1938–39,[2] and lost the other three.

In the same match Kesari took Central Provinces and Berar's best Ranji Trophy bowling figures, 6 for 62.
