Cerhovice

Cerhovice is a market town in Beroun District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

Cerhovice consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] Cerhovice is located about 19 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Beroun and 42 km (26 mi) southwest of Prague.

The first written mention of Cerhovice is in a deed of King Ottokar II of Bohemia from 1275.

Their properties were confiscated as a punishment for preparing an uprising against the king in 1595, and the royal chamber regained Cerhovice.
