Chakravarthy Chandrachud (born 15 August 1977), is an Indian journalist, poet, social activist, actor, writer, director and debater from Karnataka's.
[citation needed] Born into a farming family, he earned a degree in Instrumentation Technology from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), Mysore.
[citation needed] Chandrachud's first book, Jana Jala Kranti, examines the work of Anna Hazare and Rajendra Singh in irrigation reforms.
He directed and wrote Janma, a movie set against the backdrop of the Kaveri issue that portrays the chaos following the death of Kannada matinee idol Dr. Rajkumar.
As an actor, he has appeared in Janma, Melobba Mayavi, Demo Piece, Ranganayaki, Football Mariyammana (Malayalam), Kalidasa Kannada Meshtru, 1975, Madhyantara and DSS.
