Chandrika Prasad Upadhyay is an Indian politician and a member of 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh of India.
He married Devika Upadhyay, they have two sons Prashant, and Nishant and one daughter Meenakshi.
[2][1] Upadhyay was Personal Secretary of Dr. Murali Manohar Joshi, who was the Minister of Human Resources from 1998 to 2004.
He defeated his nearest candidate Veer Singh (Samajwadi Party), by a margin of 26,430 votes.
[4] On 21 August 2019, after first cabinet expansion of Yogi Adityanath Government he was appointed Minister of State for Public Works.
