Chanelle (born Charlene Renee Munford)[1] is an American singer who had reached success with her single “One Man” in 1989.
Born in Virginia and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Chanelle moved to New York City to study law, but dropped out to perform in musical theatre, and giving jazz and blues concerts in the city's supper clubs.
16 in the UK chart in March 1989; a remixed version made the top 50 in December 1994.
