In the 30th Legislature, she served the House Minority Leader.

She also serves on the Administration, Health & Social Services, and Transportation & Public Facilities Finance Subcommittees, for the 26th Legislature.

[2] Charisse Millett was a former Alaska State Legislative aide from 2005 to 2007 before being elected into office.

She graduated from the Dimond High School in 1981, and attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage from 1981 to 1983.
