Charles Evans Boineau Jr. (September 27, 1923 – June 1, 2005) was an American politician and the first Republican elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in the twentieth century.

During World War II as a naval aviator in the United States Navy in the Pacific theater.
[1] After the war, he returned to Richland County and became involved in local politics.
He joined the Republican Party and became its candidate in a 1961 election to the South Carolina House of Representatives.
