Charles Brown (cricketer, born 1854)

Charles Atherton Brown (8 June 1854 – 8 July 1917) was an Australian-born English cricketer.

Brown was a right-handed batsman who bowled left-arm roundarm fast.

He made his first-class debut for Sussex against Kent in 1876 at the County Ground, Hove.

He made ten further first-class appearances for the county, the last of which came against Kent 1876 at the Higher Common Ground, Tunbridge Wells.
