Charles Camic

Charles Michael Camic (born September 27, 1951)[2] is the Lorraine H. Morton Professor of sociology at Northwestern University.

in sociology summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 1973.

In 2006, he left the University of Wisconsin-Madison to become the John Evans Professor of sociology at Northwestern, where he was appointed the Lorraine H. Morton Professor in 2016.

[4][5] From 1999 to 2003, Camic was the co-editor-in-chief of the American Sociological Review, along with Franklin D.
