Charles Elliott Tanner, KC (October 7, 1857 – January 13, 1946) was a Canadian politician.
He was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in 1894 and was defeated in 1897.
He resigned in 1908 to contest the 1908 federal election for the electoral district of Pictou and was defeated.
He was summoned to the Senate of Canada representing the senatorial division of Pictou on the advice of Robert Borden in 1917.
