Charles Frederick Peploe

Charles Frederick Peploe (10 February 1865 – 25 June 1937) was an English Anglican clergyman who was vicar of Christ Church, Southgate, from 1909–37.

In May 1917 she wrote to the editor of The Times lamenting the conditions under which the prisoners were held and the German practice of placing them in the firing line.

He was first vicar of St. Mark's, Bush Hill Park,[5] before moving to Christ Church, Southgate, in 1909 where he took over from Charles Stookes.

Ten years after his death, in 1947, a new oak organ screen was dedicated in his memory at Christ Church.
