Charles R. Saxbe

Charles Rockwell Saxbe (born November 2, 1946) is an attorney from Ohio and former American politician of the Republican Party.

[2] He was the youngest of three children and grew up in a small house in nearby Mechanicsburg, Ohio, that his father built.

After serving his country, Saxbe earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1975.

[4] Saxbe is currently 'Partner-in-Charge' of the Columbus office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, a law firm based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

[5] Previously, he was the co-managing partner of Chester, Willcox & Saxbe, LLP, a law firm based in Columbus, Ohio.
